[wplug] Audio: Compression Utility?

There are a kazillion tools out there for this.  I like Snd 
(www-ccrma.stanford.edu), but you might also look into ecasound or 
Audacity.  Check out Dave Philips's page (www.linuxsound.org, I think - 
not sure of the top of my head.)
