Sorry for the delay in responding to your question.  The hanging apparently
had to do with a new Penguin server (PIV-Xeon 2.0GHz) and not the media as
we were able to take the same media and successfully install to an IBM
Netfinity (PIII 750MHz).  Ce la vi!

We are experiencing some difficulty installing 2.1 ES.  It seems to hang on
the package installs at the kernel.  The console shows progress till the
very end of the package install for the kernel.  It looks like the system is
hung - nothing works other than the mouse moves.  Any ideas???
