What filesystem are those disks formatted with?

One way of finding out is to use dd to rip an image of the filesystem and
then run 'file' on it - it should tell you what filesystem is on the
image, hence, the disk. I just tried this with a few images of floppies
I've been working on and gotten results like

x86 boot sector, system (m*/{IHC, FAT (12 bit)

so it should work for you as well.

My first guess would be that they're formatted with the standard DOS
filesystem, try that first.
