[wplug] Personal mail from sendmail or smtp?

Are you using POP3 or IMAP to connect?  Those should work to any server.  I never heard of an ISP blocking those ports.

Can you do a DNS lookup and see mail.domainname.com real IP address?

Are you running Linux?  Which client?
