[wplug] Installing from Source

Ok, today must be the day for questions. I have an older 7.2 box that I am
editing scripts on and have come to appreciate the syntax checking features
of the VIM wrappers. Running "up2date vim" -> jack squat (no surprise here);
rpmfind.net -> vim-6.1-2.src.rpm is the only software close; freshrpms.net
-> jack squat.

So I "wget vim-6.1-2.src.rpm" ->"rpm -ivh vim-6.1-2.src.rpm" -> goggle for
using src.rpm and get pointers to doing "rpmbuild". No longer available.
Search at all the usual sites (see above) and no useful hits.

"man rpm" ->read->read->[eyes heavy....must take nap]->read->read; no help.

HOW DO YOU ISTALL THIS THING?!?!?!

Thanks,
