[wplug] Verizon PPPoe winpoet software

I support a little mom / pop shop with Alltel and Serv SMB shares / internet
gateway for them.

I used rp-pppoe-3.5-1.i386.rpm and it was a snap to install. Ignore their
references to firewalling as they are dated. I can forward a script that I
use that does IPTABLES for SSH only red-side; SMB SSH DHCP LAN side.

I have also been looking a user / none CLI newbie friendly version of Linux
that has a plethora of polish called Clarkconnect
http://www.clarkconnect.org/ -> I will be doing my demo of it this week
(time permiting).

Let me know if you have any questions.

I saw that a few people have used verizon dsl with linux from the list.
I have never used pppoe software but since my mother now has DSL I
would like to toss a linux box on her network. Any suggestion of pppoe
software to use with linux? I'll use debian SID for the OS probably on
a little P200 I have laying around. Everything will be done via command
line as well, so it will be a 24/7 connection with nothing to do on her
part.
