[wplug] Debian help

I had the exact same problem a while ago.  Web, SSH, NFS type
connections would all quit working, but I could still ping out to the
internet.  After pulling my hair out over it for for a while i changed
out the NIC and everything has been fine since.  The NIC was a 3Com.
