I commend CCAC's vision for Linux certification exams. I believe that
having Red Hat certifications would be very beneficial. However, I feel
that LPI exams ( http://www.lpi.org/ )would be a better choice since it
relates to Linux in general (Linux soul) and not to a specific Linux flavor.
Also, there is a lot of inexpensive documentation
http://www.oreilly.de/catalog/lpicertnut/ --sorry for the German link. The
O'Reilley book can be purchased new or used at Amazon. This book is also an
excellent reference book. I do not wish to start a Linux flavor war. I
just feel that CCAC can provide really structured cost effective courses
based on the LPI exams. These certifications benefit every flavor of Linux.
