That's the problem, as soon as the "features" are there, people can't 
seem to get enough of them, so you get combo boxes and backgrounds and 
frames for what could have been done with simple text...

I've OpenOffice.org freak out on me once before, with a 7MB PowerPoint 
presentation that consumed 100% of CPU when opened, created a ~150MB 
temp file, and generally put an impossible strain on the machine. It 
wasn't an immediate crash, it was something like an endless loop in 
this case. I just had to kill it after a while.
