[wplug] What about spreadsheets?

I don't know about .txt or .rtf but a faculty member here at CMU for
whom
I work uses OpenOffice with some success for reading/modifying Excel
sheets.

I know there are at least 1-2 other spreadsheet solutions but I don't
recall
what they are or how well they handle current iterations of Excel.
