Who does support Linux?  In fact, I remember once being on with  tech 
support with Sony for a Vaio and they told me to format the hard drive 
and re-install the "rescue cd", bringing it back to factory specs.  All 
I wanted to know was why a piece of software wasn't working with the 
modem (forget what it was now).  They told me they couldn't support any 
software that wasn't issued with the PC when I bought it and that I 
shouldn't use and other peoples software.

Can you believe that!?  :)
