[wplug] cli resolution

I have a Dell laptop, when I am at the command line; it uses only the middle
2/3 of the screen, leaving a big border of unused space around the screen.
I can inflate that by using the fn+F7 (font) to enlarge what I am seeing on
the screen, but it doesn't really increase the resolution, it just magnifies
things   Is there a way to manipulate the resolution for the command line?
