Here's what I'm doing and my experience pertaining to the RHCE test and
preparation for it:
I am taking the RH300 Rapid Track course in November. It's 4 days of intense
training with the exam on the last day. I have roughly 3 years of Unix
experience including most recently 1.5 years of Solaris and AIX. I've been
using/administering Red Hat Linux for roughly 1 year at the company I'm
currently working for. We've begun offering RH Linux based web hosting, db
hosting, and outsourcing services to the financial sector. They'd like to be
able to advertise that they have an RHCE on-site. It looks like that's going
to be me, I hope. I'm thinking about buying this book:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0072224851/qid=1061589910/sr=2-1/ref=
sr_2_1/002-2152894-8912041
to help me learn and understand some of the network services and other
misc. "stuff" that I haven't had experience with yet.
