Yep, checked that, didn't make any difference.

No, and I really wonder why ypbind has been set up so silently by ma-RH.
Anyway, I added /etc/init.d/ypbind to /etc/rc.local, so now it tries to
execute it a second time, which of course succeeds. Ugly hack, but I can
go home for the weekend :-)
