*Several minutes* for an xterm?

I'd buy that only for something as bloated as konsole
(KDE+transparency+hover-activated widgets+window styles+antialiased
fonts+more fluff).

Which is exactly what I use, and no, it doesn't take even a minute. Same
thing, DSL with 16KB/sec upload.
