[wplug] pdf text search

Does anyone know of a way to do keyword searching within .pdf file 
directories? I keep digital files (.pdf files) of the journal articles 
I have read. When I want to reference something, it would be nice to be 
able to query the library with a keyword search. I have Acrobat (full 
version), but it won't descend into directories... and that wouldn't be 
a very sporting topic for wplug anyways. Any ideas??
