so my advisor called me into his office this morning and asked me why
mozilla wouldn't die. we tried:
kill -9 pid
killall mozilla-bin
which failed. since the parent process was init, i thought killing parent
would be a bad idea. the process wasn't a zombie, at least according to
top, so i don't really know our attempts to kill the processes failed. can
anyone else provide some information?

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless,
whether the mad destruction is brought under the name of totalitarianism or
the holy name of liberty and democracy?
