I'm just curious: Why are you using the ALSA driver set?  I'm using the
drivers that come with the v2.4.20 kernel without any trouble.  Are there
a couple of functions that you need that aren't included by default?

This might be part of it - you appear to be passing arguments to the
modules as they're installed.  Could you post the args you're using?

I'm not any good with the ALSA drivers, I'm afraid.  I'd be interesting in
finding out the answer to this as well.
