Sometime in April Bill assaulted the keyboard and produced:

|
| Totally agreed. win4lin is only $100, the analogous vmware package is
| $329.
|
| I can also say that win4lin's support has been pretty good too. They
| gave me total/full support when I was still using the demo product, and
| there support group has yet to fail me since.
|
| One of my problems with early versions of vmware (beside the huge price,
| it was ~$1000 back then) was a virtually useless virtual network. :)
| I've had little problem with networking using win4lin. John, does the
| networking seem sound on your roommates box?
networking works fine in vmware. i've never had a problem with it in the
three years or so we've been using it. i'm pretty sure networking is fine
in win4lin for my roommate. he uses trillian (sp?), ie, and some other
stuff.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of
the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to
drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship,
or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the
people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is
easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and
denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country
to greater danger."
