[wplug] setenv

I was helping someone setup software on a RedHat 8.0 system.  I am not
familiar with RedHat and need to get something running quick.  I am
accessing the system through a remote terminal.  I need to set an
environment variable.  RedHat doesn't accept the setenv command although
there is a manpage for it.  I could not locate the setenv file.  Thanks for
the help in advance.
