[wplug] Gentoo install help needed

Yeah - (in following the install.txt file) I've done all the emerge stuff,
chrooted, and am now at the point where I've edited /etc/make.conf and want
to add mirror support and "turbo mode" via prozilla just prior to
installing.  There is a /lib/cpp in the chrooted environ, but just to be
sure I hoped over to an alternate console and copied it from the source
tree.  If it matters, emerge is trying to work ncurses as a dep for
mirrorselect and prozilla
