If you are using dhcpcd for your DHCP client, look in /etc/dhcpc and see if the
dhcpcd-eth0.info file looks right, particularly the GATEWAY line.  If it is, I
don't know why it's not getting installed.  It may also be worth doing an
'rpm -V initscripts' to check that you haven't hacked on anything and then
forgotten about it.  You should get no output from that.

I'm not sure, but you can try putting GATEWAY=x.x.x.x in there and find out.
