Arnaud,
The lights should remain on solid. Be sure that you have the CF card
formatted for FAT16: e.g. 'mkfs.msdos -F 16 /dev/sda1'
It takes about 3-5 minutes to flash the ROM. I'm not sure about the
blinking.
