[wplug] Dual boot question

Sometime in April Doug Dominick assaulted the keyboard and produced:

| graphics card.  There is a driver on ATI's site.  How do I not set it to
| boot to the GUI by default?  Once it boots how do I get it to go into
| the GUI?

edit the file /etc/inittab

change the line:
id:5:initdefault:

to
id:3:initdefault:


runlevel 5 -> gui
runlevel 3 -> console/multiuser

to start x type 

 # startx

or as root you can type:

 # init 5

this will switch the computer to runlevel 5.
