Okay, so if I read this writeup correctly: 

 * You now have $100 (out of $199)
 * Someone else is going to have a copy of Windows eXPloit
 * Microsoft still has somewhere in the vicinity of $199 that it doesn't 
have to give up

Isn't this a lose-lose-lose scenario?
