[wplug] Collecting MACs?

Hi all -
	I've got a lot of machines to build, and I have to associate the MAC
to a physical rack location (before an OS is loaded).  Has anyone seen a
decent script for MAC address collection?  I would assume that if you simply
run a tftp/bootp server on one host as a "collection agent" you could simply
cull the MAC info as you power each machine on and it "checks in".  I've not
found anything in my searches.  Any ideas?
