If you're asking about the lack of ability to play MP3s -
The codec to play MP3s is owned by Fraunhoffer -
http://www.iis.fraunhofer.de/amm/techinf/layer3/ While they have stated
that "anyone wishing to distribute the codec with a free player may do so" -
they will NOT put anything in writing, and Red Hat made the side decision to
not include MP3 playback capability.
Likewise, DVD playback on Linux is based on "stolen code" - and as
such Red Hat has again (wisely) chosen not include that software.

If you're asking about the "fixed" RPMs -
http://www.freshrpms.com (this site is also a Red Hat 9 update
mirror, and is owned by a heavily involved beta tester)

On a side note - we've got a bet going here on how long it will be
after the next release of RH before sendmail gets updated.
