[wplug] distro installers that support usb

In the past i was able to install a certain release of Redhat 7.2 using my 
USB keyboard and mouse, but another release (of 7.2) didnt support them... 
since i lost those 7.2 cd's, i haven't been able to find any distros that 
will recognize my usb keyboard and mouse upon cd boot... even redhat 8.0... 
is there a way i can make a usb modules bootdisk?
