[wplug] best install of 2nd drive

hello,

I have 40 gig installed with windows 98 2nd ed.  i have a 60 gig to install as a 2nd hdd primarily to install linux.  How should it be installed master/slave, primary or secondary ide?  I want the cleanest access to 98 on first drive and to the linux on the second drive.  How should i partition the second drive?  Thank you
