Sometime in November Scott Eicher assaulted the keyboard and produced:

| hello,
|
| Does anyone know of a good distribution that will run on a sparc processor?
| I've tried loading Mandrake for Sparc on an Ultra 10 workstation and a Netra
| T1 105 but I wasn't able to get to the installation on either of them. They
| both failed trying to boot off the CD. It was Mandrake 7.1 and I read
| somewhere that they stopped releasing Sparc versions after this 7.1. I've
| heard that Suse and Debian both make versions for Sparc but I'm wondering if
| there are any others and which would install with the least of amount of
| problems.
|

i'm pretty sure debian work on sparcs.
