Harry,
As far as the drivers are concerned, just try the 800 series drivers and see if they work, they might do just fine. In reference to the print command, you should use:
lpr -P<queue_name> <file_name>
to spool a print document to a specific que (of course w/o the <>). So in your case, if the queue name is lp1, just use the command
lpr -Plp1
in star office.
