Just a follow-up: I did finally get the CD players to work. In the end, getting the audio cable did the trick. Thanks to all those who helped. BTW, does anyone know of good computer store in/around Oakland that would carry stuff like that (ie- odd computer hardware, etc.)? I've looked, but haven't found anything. Thanks again, jaaron
