[wplug] Adding a dot-matrix printer

Hello, folks -
   I'm adding an Okidata ml-320 standard (non-IBM) version printer to my 
Mandrake box. The drivers that Okidata provides are from IBM - the Omni 
project. Okidata's instructions involve moving ?.ppd.gx modules to configure 
CUPS - but the modules brought down from IBM are /opt/omni/?.so modules. Does 
this mean that I have to drop CUPS, and use another spooler ?  Do I presume 
these are for another interim package that I need to reconfigure - like 
Ghostscript?

 Any ideas are appreciated.
