I know this is not a Linux specific question but just out of curiosity does
anyone know the command to exit out of the sendmail command line. For
instance this is what I am doing:

<snip>
$ /usr/sbin/sendmail -oi -t
To: user at domain.tld
Subject: test

testing the is the data
<snip>

This is where I thought I could press ctrl-d and it exits and gives me
another command line, but when I type "ps -ef" I see the sendmail sitting
there still open. The mail eventually sends but it takes a while.
