[wplug] help connecting to CMU

Hi,
I am trying to connect my home computer to my CMU Andrew account. I am
running Debian Linux 3.0 (Woody).  I tried to connect using wvdial.  I was
able to dial out and connect to Andrew.  However, the default setup was
not able to handshake properly--the connection was soon dropped.  I would
appreciate any advise.  What would be the best log files to provide for proper diagnosis of the condition.
