and that is _exactly_ what i needed!!  none of the "data" would have been
corrupted .. therefore, the boundries still existed plain as day.  just a
program to recognize these boundries was need.  i thank you so much :)
it certainly saved me the trouble of writing it myself.  thanks again :)
