[wplug] Monitor Repair Shops

I'm speaking from almost perfect ignorance, but I'm
not going to let that stop me (it doesn't stop anybody
else, so why me? :-)

Part of my comment was reflecting my suspicion that
the cost of repairing a monitor would come very close
to the cost of replacing the monitor.  Who knows, I
may be totally off on that, though.

If that ends up being the case, there are some
low-cost alternatives for replacement.  One is the
Goodwill Computer Store on Carson St.  A great place
for used equipment.  I picked up a Gateway 15" monitor
there for $20 once, for example.  Works great.

Also last Computer Show & Sale I went to included a
couple of places that sold refurb monitors.  Actually,
they may do repair service as well now that I think of
it.
