[wplug] netscape freaking out on chinese websites..

hey.

i manage a chunk of computers in a research group. we have a student
from china who frequents websites from his homeland. quite often, netscape
will go out of control and freeze up the computer. the harddrive light says
lit when this happens and i am unable to connect to the computer via ssh.
so does anyone know why this would happen? can anyone suggest how to fix
this other than telling him to use another web browser.
