You might want to ry a different / older keyboard.  I've seen some of the
older machines out there act pretty wonky with newer keyboards.

I just got a Pentium I from my dad,
unfortunatly I cannot access the BIOS or get it to boot. It displays a the
BIOS infromation, asks if I want to enter setup, detects the keyboard/mouse,
then freezes no matter what I do.
I can't get the batery out of the clips on the motherboard either, so I'm
stuck.
