[wplug] Kill a connection (Netstat)?

I am still somewhat new to Linux and I have a Linux box as a
firewall/router. The way it is set up using Netstat didnt show me what I
needed as to what machines on the LAN have what connections established to
where. I got a perl script "conntrack-viewer" which does list whats going
very simular to netstat.

I see some connections which I have no idea why they are open. My question,
is there a way/command to reset or close down these connections to see if
they open back up? I have shut down the local machine that it says the
connections were comming from, but the connections did not reset or go away
after the machine was shut down. They do have UNRESOLVED! > UNRESOLVED!
under resolution (although I do not know what exactly that is for).
