Come one, Come All.

WPLUG will be hosting a swap meet and holiday lan
party.
A geeky good time is sure to be had by all!

WHEN: Saturday December 14, 2002 10am-3pm
WHERE: Newell Simon Hall 1507 (Please see map)

Swap Meet? "What's that?" you ask....
* You bring your unwanted hardware for
sale/swap/giveaway
to your fellow wplug-ers
* Those hauling in hardware to swap are responsible
for disclosing to the best of you ability the hardware
in question. If something doesn't work to the
expectations of the person receiving the hardware,
that's btwn the two parties involved, not WPLUG.
* Those who leave hardware behind at the 12/14
meeting accept that the hardware may be donated to
WPLUG or Goodwill computer. If any hardware is
rejected as a donation, it may be thrown in the trash.
Also, if any hardware is left behind that is too
large to fit in the cars of the person(s) going
to Goodwill to donate, it may be thrown away.
If you find this unacceptable, take your hardware
home.
* this is a beta-test of the swap meet idea. If you
geeks find it groovy, we can do this again in the
spring or summer and invite other computer clubs
to partake in the hardware joy.

But I want a LAN PARTY!
* Those wishing to attend for the lan party, please
be patient as we setup the router. And remember,
net access is a privilege, not a right
* Carts will be available for use, please, please,
respect the carts.
* Again, the hours of the Lan Party are from 10am to
3pm.
That means if you show up before 10am, expect to be
recruited to help setup. That also means all computers
will be powered off and some already out the door by
3pm.
