I've used gnumeric quite a bit and I really like it.  It's a solid
program and I like the GTK feel of it rather than OpenOffice's
non-native feel.  In general though, both OpenOffice and Gnumeric are
fairly good Excel replacements.  Also, the KDE Office project has a
program called KSpread that pretty good.
