Wow, I've been using Linux for 7 years now and I didn't know that. Very
handy indeed.

Subject: [wplug] misinformation

I inadvertently provided some erroneous information during this past
Saturday's Tutorial.

The question related to the problem of viewing multiple screens of
information, such as help
digests from commands, catting larging files, etc.

Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn allow one to move up or down through multi-screen
output, one-
half screen at a time. You can view the contents of the entire screen
buffer in this way. This
is exceedingly useful and worth a post-it note on your monitor.

(I erroneously reported that Shift+UpArrow and Shift+DownArrow provided this
functionality.)

BTW, I want to thank everyone, especially Jim O"Kane, for making the
Tutorial so
worthwhile.
