[wplug] CUPS or lpr?

I'd use CUPS. I've been using it since I upgraded both my home machine and
my work machine, and I'm very happy with the performance. Here at work I use
CUPS to print to a network printer with no problems at all.

Hi-

I'm setting up printing on my laptop (Debian) and wondering if it matters 
which printing system I install. Is there any major difference between CUPS 
and lpr, and are there any compatibility issues between them? I realize that

CUPS is newer, but lpr seems to be default for most applications and tools 
such as printtool. Please advise... thanks.
