many years ago i had a similar problem. i dont remember for sure but i believe
it has to do with the startup options. i believe this file is created on
startup (either in /tmp or somewhere within /var). it represents a unix socket
and the rest quickly overcomes my knowlege.

search for the error you are getting on google and that should turn up the
way to fix it.
