Dave, not to be man but I support Beth's rule, for 2 reasons, if someone
makes a stink 2 things will happend, 1st we will lose the use of cmu for
the gums and installfests, and beth could be held liable for it.
Second why do we need a movie at a gum or even a installfest (and yse I
am not inosent of this eather, and as of now I will not bring movies)
we , to my understanding, there at the gum for talks and to solization,
and at the installfest to help new uses get use to linux, I don't see
how movies help, unless they are movies about linux, and at this point I
can not think of any. So i think that beth is being very generous here,
if it was me I would not alow any movies because I don't see how they
fit into the wplug mission. just my $.02

If we have to lay down guidelines (and Beth, though I don't want you to get in trouble, you can't make policies for the group unilaterally), then we will be imposing the machinery of censorship, and I don't want that to happen. We, each and every one of us, should be smart enough to not bring offensive media to the InstallFests, be it video or screensaver.
