lpr -P<printernam> file.txt

in your case,
lpr -Plp0 file
will print it to the local printer, and
lpr -PJetDirect file
will print it to whatever JetDirect is in your printcap.

You can also set your $PRINTER env variable.

(reading man pages isn't *THAT* hard, is it?)
