I want to ask you for help about Minicom and Seyon.

1) Seyon:
When I try to start seyon

$ seyon -modems /dev/modem
(/dev/modem is a link to cua1 ; it doesn't matter, as
I try also
/dev/cua1
/dev/cua0
/dev/ttyS1
/dev/ttyS0 but it will do the same)

it will complain, saying
--------------
Locating Modems...
>> Error: Unable to Open Modem ``/dev/modem'':
Permission denied.
Modem ``/dev/modem'' is Unavailable.

>> Error: No Modems Available.
And a nice box will pop up and say:
--------------------
>> Modem initialization routine failed
Possible causes:
* no modem device is specified
* modem device is locked
* failure to open modem device
   (e.g. non-existent port,
    insufficient permission, ..etc)

Suggested action:
* check that you specified the correct port
* check that no other process is using the modem
-----------------------------------
Well, it surprises me since I can use Minicom
configured on /dev/modem

Looking at /var/locks, I can only see a file named
/var/locks/emacs there.

How can I solve this?
2) Minicom:
I am able to dial, and all that, but when trying to
download files via
zmodem, a small blue menu pops and invite me to press
any key, and they it will close and do nothing. (It is
not a problem
of the other side, since I can download from the same
places using a DOS
program [BananaCom]).

On the configuration menu, for the zmodem line, it
says:

                    Name U/D FullScr IO-Red. Multi.
/usr/bin/sz -vv -b Y U N Y Y

(I am running the Zipslack encarnation of Slackware 3.6).
