[wplug] Linux 2.4 killed my system: FIXED!

Well the issue wasn't the setup of lilo.conf and using different kernels, I'm
familiar with that. It was that all of the kernels in lilo.conf were borked
and I had now way to edit the files to make it point to a good kernel. Thank
god for tomsrtbt, which allowed me to basically boot my system using the
kernel on the tomsrtbt disk via the root=/dev/hda2. The reason Rafael
suggested this was so that I could get one of the installer cd's or floppy
distributions to boot my system using a good kernel.

I don't know if what I wrote makes sense, but it does in my head :)
