[wplug] Linux 2.4 killed my system

Actually I did not have devfs enabled. The kernel simply failed to mount the
paritions.  While trying to get mount in through other methods, I found that
the debian installer, mandrake 7 installer, and pocket linux all failed to
mount it complaining of unsupported options.
